194001423 - E3021 REARSCREEN WASH/WIPE - OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

The electronic device inside the steering column switch unit H005 and the controls on the right lever receive a power supply at pin 11 of connector A from the ignition-controlled line of relay T12 protected by fuse F43, both housed in the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The relay supplies the circuit only when the coil receives the INT/A signal from the steering lock control unit with the ignition ON.The part of the electronic device of stalk unit H005 that manages the rear wiper function is supplied at pin 12 of connector C from the line of relay T12 protected by fuse F52 contained in the under-dashboard control unit B002.Pin 7 of connector A and pin 9 of connector C of H005 are earthed. When the rear wiper function is activated, stalk unit H005 sends a control signal to rear wiper motor N016 from pin 1 of connector B. Pin 2 receives an earth signal from the motor end travel cam that stops its operation. Motor N016 is then earthed. The steering column switch unit H005 windscreen washer switch, once activated, sends two signals from pins 10 and 12 of connector A which operate the windscreen washer pump N022 which turns sending the washer fluid to the windscreen wiper.Pin 3 of connector A receives a signal (positive) from Body Computer M001 - pin 1 of connector A - which activates the automatic operation of the rear wiper with reverse engaged.    See E2022 REVERSING LIGHTS
