The headlamp alignment adjustment is only activated by the system with the main beams on.    See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPSThe steering column switch unit activates the dipped beams on status which is received at pin 2 of connector I of the Body Computer M001. The latter operates the relay 1 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002 with a pin to pin connection (pin 8 and 18). Pin 87of relay T1 supplies the dipped headlamp F010 and F011 at pins 1 via fuses F13 and F12.The switch for the left control unit H091 provides a headlamp alignment adjustment signal, via pin 18 of connector B, at pin 11 of connector B of the instrument panel E050. The latter, going from pins 5 and 6 of connector A, operates the motors in the left headlamp F010 and the right headlamp F011 at pins 7 and 6 respectively moving to the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The motors in the left F010 and right F001 headlamps are earthed via pins 8 to the left front earth C010 and to the right front earth C011 respectively.
