194001559 - E3570 INTEGRATED RADIO PHONE - OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

The integrated radio-phone-navigation system P020 is supplied directly- pin 7 of connector A - from the battery via a line protected by fuse F23 of engine compartment junction unit B001.Pin 4 of connector A of the integrated radio-telephone-navigation system P020 receives an ignition-operated supply (INT from the steering lock control unit) via a line protected by fuse F49 of underfacia junction unit B002.Pins 1 and 3 if connector A are linked to the CAN network, which connects the integrated radio-telephone-navigation system P020 to Body Computer M001 (pins 24 and 25 of connector H) and the other system nodes. Pin 8 of connector A and pin 12 of connector F are earthed.Steering wheel node control unit M093 supplies signals relating to the steering wheel controls vai the CAN network through clock spring junction D047 (pins 3 and 4).The GSM aerial is connected to the phone function via a coaxial cable that is not the same as the cable used for the radio function and the navigation system function (GPS).Pins 9 and 18 of connector F are connected to the microphone via handsfree unit P026.Cables leave connector B, pin 2 of connector A and pin 6 of connector C of P020 to connect to the radio HI-FI amplifier P070 that manages the speakers for the handsfree function.    See E3510 RADIO
