194001687 - E6020 AIR CONDITIONER - OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION (RIGHT HAND DRIVE, AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING)

Climate control system M070 receives an ignition-operted power supply (INT and INT/A of steering lock control unit) at pins 14 and 13 of connector A respectively via a line protected by fuses F49 and F31 of under-dashboard junction unit B002; it is supplied directly from the battery at pin 11 of connector A via a line protected by fuse F39 of B002.The control unit M070 is connected, via the CAN line, from pins 1 and 10 of connector A - to the Body Computer M001 and to the other nodes.Sensors K111 (right lower treated air) and K113 (left lower treated air), K110 (right upper treated air) and K112 (left upper treated air) are connected to control unit M070: these sensors receive a reference earth from pin 17 of connector B and send the relevant signal to pins 18, 1, 2 and 19 of connector B of M070.Exhaust gas presence sensor (AQS) K064 is supplied directly by the battery via a line protected by fuse F35 of junction unit B002 and sends its signal to pin 6 of the connector of control unit M070.The solar sensor K090 informs the control unit of the heat coming from the sun''s rays: it receives a reference earth from control unit M070 - pin 9 of connector A - and returns two signal to the control unit: to pin 8 of connector A for the left area and pin 18 of connector A for the right area. The air conditioning system is equipped with a recirculation actuator (N082), two for air mixing (N078 and N079) and air distribution (N113 and N112).Recirculation actuator N082) is controlled by control unit M070 from pins 30 and 31 of connector B.Air mixing actuators N078 and N079 are connected to control unit M070 respectively at pins 9, 10, 25, 26 and pin 11, 12, 27, 28 of connector B; both receive a power supply from pin 29 of connector B of M070.Air distribution actuators N113 and N112 are connected to control unit M070 respectively at pins 7, 8, 23, 24 and pins 3, 4, 5, 6 of connector B; both receive a power supply from pin 29 of connector B of M070.Electric fan N085 (with built-in speed regulation electronics) is supplied directly from the battery via a line protected by fuse F2 of engine compartment junction unit B001.It receives an input signal for control of the various speeds from pin 14 of connector B of M070 and returns a feedback signal to pin 13 of M070.The sensor which measures the outside temperature is located on the door mirror P060: this is connected to pins 2 and 6 of connector E of driver side door control unit M066, which sends the corresponding signal to the other nodes via the CAN network - pins 15 and 16 of connector B.Pin 7 of connector A of M070 controls compressor activation.    See E6021 COMPRESSOR ENGAGEMENTThe heated rear window control is connected to pin 4 of connector A of M070.    See E3030 HEATED REAR WINDSCREEN AND DOOR MIRROR DEFROSTING
