194000215 - 0010T12 ENGINE OIL AND FILTER - REPLACE

Engine oil is harmful to skin: keep contact with skin to a minimum and if there is contact wash with soap and water.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Remove the filler cap with the engine hot.- Release the engine oil dipstick.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.1. Connect a suitable pipe to the exhaust valve on the engine oil filter mounting.2. Loosen the bleed valve and drain the engine oil in the filter into a suitable container.3. Undo the engine oil filter cover complete with O-rings and remove it.4. Remove the engine oil cartridge filter. - Undo the drain plug in the crankcase sump and leave the oil to drain into a suitable container.

Be very careful when removing the drain plug, the oil could be very hot.

Do not let the oil disperse into the environment as indiscriminate dispersion of this product causes pollution.

- Clean the drain plug and tighten it complete with a new gasket to the recommended torque.

- Place the engine oil filter cartridge in its housing.- Place the engine oil filter cover complete with new O-rings in its housing and tighten it to the specified torque.

    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.- Refill the engine lubrication circuit with the recommended oil.

- Check that the engine oil level is correct using the dipstick.

The oil level is checked with the vehicle on a flat surface.

- Fit the filler cap, let the engine idle for about 2 minutes, switch off the engine and then wait for several minutes.- Check the oil level and make sure there are no leaks.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
