1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the brake fluid minimum level warning light switch.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the pipe from the clutch reservoir to the master cylinder, reservoir side.

1. Undo the connectors (1a) and disconnect the pipes from the master cylinder to the electro-hydraulic control unit (1b), master cylinder side.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the master brake cylinder (1b) complete with reservoir (1c).

1. At the bench, undo the bolt (1a) and separate the master brake cylinder (1b) from the reservoir (1c).

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Replace the seals on the master brake cylinder.

Do not use mineral oils or grease.

- Assemble the master brake cylinder and the reservoir and tighten the bolt.1. Refit the master brake cylinder (1a) complete with reservoir (1b) back in its housing and secure it tightening the nuts (1c) to the recommended torque.

1. Connect the pipes from the master cylinder to the electro-hydraulic control unit (1a), master cylinder side and tighten the connectors (1b) to the recommended torque.
