The following procedure describes the removing-refitting of the left upper track control arm, carry out the same operations for the right upper track control arm.

- Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL - R.R Op. 4420A40 L/H OR R/H REAR SUSPENSION COIL SPRING (ONE) - R+R1. Release the wiring for the wheel rpm sensor from the bands on the upper track control arm.- Position a hydraulic jack underneath the rear wheel stub axle.2. Undo the bolt (2a) and disconnect the rear suspension upper track control arm (2b), from the rear wheel stub axle.

Raise the hydraulic jack until the fixing bolt is released without effort.

3. Unscrew the bolt (3a) and remove the rear suspension upper track control arm (3b).

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Refit the rear suspension upper track control arm (1a) and secure it to the rear suspension cross member without tightening the bolt (1b).2. Connect the rear suspension upper track control arm (2a) to the rear wheel stub axle and secure it without tightening the bolt (2b).- Remove the hydraulic jack underneath the rear wheel stub axle.3. Fasten the wiring for the wheel rpm sensor using the bands to the upper track control arm.

Op. 4420A40 L/H OR R/H REAR SUSPENSION COIL SPRING (ONE) - R+R Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL - R.R- Place the vehicle in design conditions Op. 4450A40 REAR WHEEL GEOMETRY - CHECK USING OPTICAL EQUIPMENT, INCLUDES ADJUSTMENT IF NECESSARYto tighten the bolts securing the rear suspension upper track control arm.

This operation is used to avoid torsional preloading of the flexible bushes.

1. Tighten the new bolts (1a) and (1b) fixing the rear suspension upper track control arm to the recommended torque.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
