Removing ( Refitting )

Follow the safety instructions    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS

- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE    Op. 1048A42 SLEEVE FROM FLOW METER TO TURBO CHARGER AIR INLET PIPE - R + R    Op. 1048B20 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM HEAT EXCHANGER TO RIGID PIPE - REPLACEOp. 1048A13 AIR FILTER MOUNT R R    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.    Op. 1048B14 AIR DELIVERY HOSE BETWEEN TURBOCHARGER AND HEAT EXCHANGER - REPLACE1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the lower connecting pipe (1b) to the condenser (1c). 1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the upper connecting pipe (1b) to the condenser (1c). 1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the coupling (1b) connected to the drier filter (1c) and release the pipe. 1. Undo the two bolts (1a) fixing the drier filter (1b).Remove the drier filter from the vehicle working from the lower part of the vehicle. 1. Release from the anchorage and disconnect the coupling engagement electromagnet electrical connection (1a) from the air conditioner compressor (1b).

1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the coupling (1b) for the compressor supply and return pipe (1c) and release the pipe from the housing. 1. Disconnect the two pipes (1a) for the solenoid valve (1b) to free up the work area.2. Undo the fixing nut (2a) and release the upper mounting for the tandem pipe (2b).3. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fan unit motors.

Working from the top of the engine compartment, extract the air conditioning compressor tandem supply and return pipe and remove it. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the air conditioning compressor tandem supply and return pipe is not damaged and replace all the seals with new parts.- Position the air conditioning compressor tandem supply and return pipe on the vehicle.- Connect the electrical connection for the fan unit motors.

- Connect the two solenoid valve pipes.- Attach the upper mounting for the tandem pipe and tighten the fixing nut.- Fit the pipe on the compressor, screw in the coupling fixing bolt and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Connect the electrical connection for the compressor engagement solenoid to the air conditioning compressor and attach the mounting.

	AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR ENGAGEMENT ELECTROMAGNET	See L020 AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR ENGAGEMENT ELECTRO-MAGNET

- Place the drier filter on the vehicle fitting it via the lower part of the engine and tighten the two bolts fixing the drier filter to the radiator unit.- Fit the connecting pipe to the drier filter, screw in the bolt fixing the pipe coupling to the drier filter and tighten to the recommended torque.

- Fit the upper connecting pipe to the condenser, screw in the bolt fixing the upper coupling to the condenser and tighten to the recommended torque.

- Fit the lower connecting pipe coupling to the condenser and tighten the fixing bolt.
