Removing ( Refitting )

Before removing and refitting the Air Bag module the following preliminary operations must be carried out:

- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and extract it;- Disconnect the battery leads and insulate them. Wait for 10 minutes before continuing.

Working on both sides, undo the bolts fixing the trim under the dashboard to the tunnel cover. 1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a), on the left hand side (1b), on the right hand side (1c) and the in the centre then remove the trim under the dashboard.2. Rotate the trim under the dashboard (2a) upwards to release it from the mountings (2b) on the tunnel cover and remove it from the dashboard.
