If the diesel electronic injection system control unit is being replaced, when the refitting is complete the following operations must be carried out using the Examiner.

Only for versions with DPF, if the diesel electronic injection system control unit is being replaced, the engine oil must be changed.

Op. 0010T10 CHANGE ENGINE OIL- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the battery terminal (-).

Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R. Op. 7055B91 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the diesel electronic injection system control unit.

- Position a hydraulic jack under the front suspension frame.2. Unscrew the bolt securing the diesel electronic injection system control unit/front suspension frame mount to the body.3. Unscrew the front bolt securing the diesel electronic injection system control unit/front suspension frame mount to the body.4. Remove the mount (4a) complete with diesel electronic injection system control unit (4b).

- Working at the bench, undo the fastenings and separate the diesel electronic injection system control unit from the mounting.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the diesel electronic injection system control unit in its housing on the mounting and secure it with the retaining clip.1. Refit the mount (1a) complete with diesel electronic injection system control unit (1b).2. Tighten the front bolt securing the diesel electronic injection system control unit/front suspension frame mount to the body.3. Tighten the new bolt securing the diesel electronic injection system control unit/front suspension frame mount to the body to the specified torque.

- Remove the hydraulic jack from underneath the front suspension frame.4. Connect the electrical connections to the diesel electronic injection system control unit.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. Op. 7055B91 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R. Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R- Connect the negative battery terminal.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
