194001276 - E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION)

The M001 Body Computer is supplied directly from the battery by the line protected by the fuse F71 (CPL) of the maxifuse box on the battery B099 (connector B) at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-controlled supply (INT from steering lock control unit) at pin 9 of connector F interfacing with junction unit B002.Pins 8 and 9 of connector I of M001 are earthed. The nodes connected to Body Computer M001 from pins 36 and 37 of connector B - via the high speed C-CAN are:- the automatic transmission gear selector control unit M053 (pins 7-5 and pins 6-4);- the slewing control unit M091 (pins 5-4 and pins 3-2);- the steering angle sensor control unit M092 (pins 1-3 and pins 2-4);- for diesel versions, the engine management control unit M010 (pins 83-84 and 61-62 of connector A);- for diesel versions, the automatic transmission control unit M055 (pins 6-7 and 14-8 of connector A);- for petrol versions, the engine management control unit M010 (pins 6-5 and 39-37 of connector A);- for petrol versions, the automatic transmission control unit M055 (pins 26-25 and 36-35 of connector A);- the electric steering control unit M086 (pins 5-4 and pins 3-2 of connector B);- the ESP control unit M051 (pins 1-2).The nodes connected to the Body Computer M001 (pins 5-7 of connector F, pins 6-5 of connector I and pins 24-25 of connector H0 via the B-CAN low speed network are:- the junction unit under the dashboard B0002 (pins 5-7 of connector E, pins 5-17 of connector H and pins 28-10 of connector D);- the automatic climate control system control unit M070 (pins 1-10 of connector A);- the driver''s door control unit M066 (pins 15-16 of connector B);- the passenger door control unit M067 (pins 15-16 of connector B);- the boot control unit M063 (pins A7-B7 of connector B);- the parking sensors control unit M084 (pins 14-7 of connector A);- the driving position control unit M173 (pins 5-6 of connector A);- the passenger position control unit M175 (pins 5-6 of connector A);- Air Bag control unit M060 (pins 8-7 of connector B);- the Hi-Fi radio or built-in radio-telephone-navigator P020 (pins 1-3 of connector A);- the ignition device (TEG Reader) H003 (pins 1-2);- the steering lock control unit M089 (pins A3-A2);- the steering wheel node control unit M093 (pins 1-5), via the clock spring D047 (pins 3-4).Some of the B-CAN connections are made by means of short circuiting couplings D097 located on the various vehicle wiring.
