Removing ( Refitting )

If the diesel electronic injection system control unit is being replaced, when the refitting is complete the following operations must be carried out using the Examiner.

Only for versions with DPF, if the diesel electronic injection system control unit is being replaced, the engine oil must be changed.

- Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the battery terminal (-).1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the diesel electronic injection system control unit.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the diesel electronic injection system control unit (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Refit the diesel electronic injection system control unit in its housing and secure with the bolts.- Connect the electrical connections to the diesel electronic injection system control unit.- Connect the negative battery terminal.
