On the tunnel console, next to the handbrake, there is a standard type current socket which can be used for connecting the diagnostic equipment or equipment working at 12 V. The socket has a ring nut that is lit up when the side lights are on. See E2530 INSTRUMENT LIGHTINGThere is a second current socket, on the tunnel console, towards the rear seats, similar to the previous one.The sockets are equipped with a thermal protection device: this protection cuts off the power supply if devices that absorb a lot of energy are connected.In order to be able to use the FIX & GO rapid repair kit (a device that needs a high current absorption) a change in the section of the connecting leads to the current sockets on the vehicle is anticipated.![]() | The rear current socket (behind the tunnel console) is the only one that should be used when the FIX & GO kit has to be used. |
