Disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables from the manual gearbox control lever.2. Undo the clips and disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables from the manual gearbox control lever mounting.
1. Disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables.2. Adjust the retaining clips (2a) manually and remove the gear selection-engagement cables (2b) from the reaction bracket.
- Remove the gear selection and engagement flexible rods releasing them towards the engine compartment. Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the flexible gear selection and engagement rods in their housings introducing them from the engine compartment towards the passenger compartment.
Check that the rod support diaphragm is correctly housed in the engine compartment bulkhead and that the arrow stamped on it is pointing upwards.
- Connect the gear selector and engagement cables to the manual gearbox control lever.
Make sure that the gear lever is in neutral.
