Removing ( Refitting )
The following procedure describes removal/refitting of the right drive shaft, do the same for the left drive shaft.
- Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R1. Remove front hub cap (1a) using the tool (1b).

1. Undo the nut (1a) securing the right front driveshaft to the wheel hub using tool (1b) for counter-torque.

2. Undo the nut fixing the steering rod to the right front steering knuckle.
1. Disconnect the steering link (1a) from the right front steering knuckle using the tool (1b).

1. Unscrew the bolt (1a) and disconnect the lower wishbone (1b) from the right front steering knuckle.
Do not use expansion tools to disconnect the lower wishbone from the front steering knuckle.
1. Use the tool to move the driveshaft back from the wheel hub.

1. Extract the right driveshaft from the differential and remove it.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the driveshaft in its housing on the differential, taking care not to damage the teeth.- Refit the drive shaft in its seat on the wheel hub and secure by screwing in a new nut without tightening.1. Connect lower wishbone (1a) to the right front stub axle and tighten a new bolt (1b) to the specified torque.

1. Tighten the new nut (1a) securing the right front driveshaft to the wheel hub using the tool (1b) for counter-torque.
