194002483 - K060 ABS FAILURE WARNING LIGHT ON

N.B: The brake node sends the ABS warning light on message via the C-CAN to the Body Computer which makes it available via the gateway to the Instrument Panel Node through the B-CAN.
If there are any problems in the C-CAN the control unit warning lights which operate on this network will light up. The CAN INFORMATION check is designed to highlight precisely this

Connect the EXAMINER diagnostic equipment and check the following at the CAN INFORMATION:

  • No control units inactive

  • No faulty control units

  • no control units with faulty CAN
Move on to Step 11. Fault on CAN network1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2. Impossible to start a dialogue with the Body Computer2. Move on to Step 7

Keeping the diagnostic equipment connected, check the following at the BRAKE NODE:

  • No system/component errors

  • No CAN faults
