194003062 - E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The M001 Body Computer is supplied directly from the battery by the line protected by fuse F71 (CPL) of the maxifuse box at the battery B099 (connector B) at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The Body Computer M001 power supply is ignition-operated (INT from the steering lock control unit) at pin 9 of connector F interfacing with junction unit B002.Pins 8 and 9 of connector I of M001 are earthed. The nodes connected to Body Computer M001 (pins 36 and 37 of connector B) via the high speed C-CAN are:- yaw sensor M091 (pin 5-4 and pin 3-2);- steering angle control unit M092 (pin 1-3 and pin 2-4);- engine management control unit M010 (pin 6-38 and 37-21 of connector A);- electric steering control unit M086 (pin 5-4 and pin 3-2 of connector B);- the ABS/ESP control unit M051 (pins 1-2).For versions equipped with ABS, the slewing M091 and steering angle M092 control units are not there so their connection is short circuited. The nodes connected with the Body Computer M001 (pin 5-7 of connector F, pin 6-5 of connector I and pin 24-25 of connector H) via low speed B-CAN network are:- under-facia junction unit B002 (pin 5-7 of connector E, pin 5-17 of connector H and pin 28-10 of connector D);- automatic climate control system control unit M070 (pin 1-10 of connector A);- driver''s door control unit M066 (pin 15-16 of connector B);- passenger door control unit M067 (pin 15-16 of connector B);- boot compartment control unit M063 (pin A7-B7 of connector B);- parking sensor control unit M084 (pin 14-7 of connector A);- steering geometry control unit M173 (pin 5-6 of connector A);- passenger geometry control unit M175 (pin 5-6 of connector A);- air bag control unit M060 (pin 8-7 of connector B);- hi-fi radio or integral radio-telephone-navigation system P020 (pin 1-3 of connector A);- ignition device (TEG Reader) H003 (pin 1-2);- steering lock control unit M089 (pin A3-A2);- steering node control unit M093 (pin 1-5), via clock spring D047 (pin 3-4).Some of the B-CAN connections are via short-circuiting junctions D097 located in the various vehicle cable looms.
