The halogen bulb with the main beam function is working properly, whilst the bixenon bulb does not switch from dipped beam to main beam.

2CHECK ON CONNECTORS IN BALLAST CONTROL UNITALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the 21-way connector for the headlamp is correctly fitted in the housing in the ballast control unit.Check that the tree-way connector - with two wires (inside the headlamp) is correctly fitted with the coil connector that controls the main beam function, by carrying out the test.    See Test 5540BP CHECK ON MAIN BEAM HEADLAMPS COIL POWER SUPPLYMove on to Step 3
