Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine oil level sensor.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the oil sump to the engine block and to the gearbox.2. Cut the sealant using the special blade.

3. Remove the oil sump from the engine crankcase.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Thoroughly clean traces of sealant from the mating surfaces between the oil sump and the engine block.1. Apply a bead of sealant about 3.5 mm thick as illustrated.
- Refit the oil sump in its seat and tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.
