Disconnect the right driveshaft from the differential, move aside and secure it appropriately.2. Disconnect the left driveshaft from the differential, move aside and secure it appropriately.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the reversing sensor.

2. Undo the bolt and remove the battery earth lead from the gearbox.3. Unscrew the fastenings and remove the bracket.

1. Undo the brake/clutch fluid reservoir cap and tighten the tool.

1. Lift up the fastening clip and disconnect the clutch fluid pipe from the three-way connector.

1. Disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables.2. Adjusting the clips (2a), remove the gear selection-engagement cables (2b) from the reaction bracket.

1. Fit the tool (1a) complete with support mountings (1b).

2. Fit the tools (2a) and (2b), then connect them to the bracket fitted previously on the engine using the rod (2c).

1. Undo the bolts (1a) fixing the flexible mounting (1b) to the gearbox side rigid support (1c).2. Undo the bolts (2a ) securing the flexible block (1b) to the bodyshell.3. Undo the bolts (3a) securing the rigid mount (1b) to the gearbox.- Remove the gearbox side rigid power unit mount assembly.

1. Undo the upper bolts securing the gearbox to the engine.

1. Fit the tool complete with hydraulic jack for removing the manual gearbox.

2. Unscrew the remaining bolts securing the gearbox to the crankcase and oil sump and remove.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Refit the gearbox in its seat and tighten the bolts securing it to the crankcase and engine sump to the specified torque.

- Undo the upper bolts securing the gearbox to the engine.

- Fit the power unit rigid support, gearbox side, and tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Remove the power unit support tools.

Make sure that the gear lever is in neutral.

- Insert the gear selection and engagement cables into the holes in the reaction bracket and push in by hand until it locks into place mechanically.- Connect the cable ends to the gear selection and engagement levers on the gearbox.- Connect the clutch fluid pipe to the three-way connection and secure with the retaining clip.- Connect the battery earth lead to the gearbox and secure it using the bolts.- Connect the electrical connection for the reversing light sensor.- Position the safety bracket and secure to the gearbox with the bolts.
