Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Open the bonnet.- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Unscrew bolt (1a) securing air conditioner pipe (1b) to the compressor and release from anchorage clamp (1c). 1. Disconnect the compressor engagement electromagnet electrical connection.

2. Undo retaining bolts (2a) and remove air conditioner compressor (2b). Refitting ( Removing )

Always replace the gaskets with new parts.

- Position the air conditioner pipe in its seat on the compressor.1. Unscrew bolt (1a) securing air conditioner pipe (1b) to the compressor, tighten to the specified torque and secure anchorage clamp (1c).

- Place the air conditioning compressor in position.- Tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Tighten the bolt securing the pipe to the compressor to the specified torque.
