194001382 - E2510 COURTESY LIGHTS - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION (POWERED SUNROOF)

The Body Computer M001 receives "door open" input signals at pin 8 of connector D (driver''s front door), pin 25 of connector E (passenger front door), pin 16 of connector D (left rear door) and pin 26 of connector E (right rear door). The inertia switch I050 (NA contact) is connected to pin 17 of connector D of M001.Both the front courtesy light G010 and the centre rear courtesy light G020 receive a direct power supply from the battery via the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The front courtesy light G10 is controlled by the Body Computer M001 : the analogue control signal from the three buttons in the actual courtesy light reaches pin 28 of connector E; on the basis of this signal, the Body Computer M001 provides the timed earth signals from pins 21, 30, 37 of connector E respectively for the management of the centre lamp and the left and right spot lights. The centre rear courtesy light G020 comprises two lamps that are controlled by the driver''s door M066 and passenger door M067 control units: the control signals from the buttons in the actual courtesy light arrive at pin 12 of connector B, whilst the negative timer and dimmer signals are sent from pin 14 of connector B to the respective lights. The Body Computer M001 - pins 24 and 25 of connector H - is connected, via the CAN line, to the ignition device H003 - pins 1 and 2 - for the timed management of the lights by the remote control (door locking/unlocking) or during the extraction of the key (key off).
