194001487 - E3070 CIGAR LIGHTER/CURRENT SOCKET - DESCRIPTION
On the tunnel console, next to the handbrake, there is a standard type current socket which can be used for connecting the diagnostic equipment or equipment working at 12 V. The socket has a ring nut that is lit up when the side lights are on. See E2530 INSTRUMENT LIGHTINGThere is a second current socket, on the tunnel console, towards the rear seats, similar to the previous one.The sockets are equipped with a thermal protection device: this protection cuts off the power supply if devices that absorb a lot of energy are connected. In order to be able to use the FIX & GO rapid repair kit (a device that needs a high current absorption) a change in the section of the connecting leads to the current sockets on the vehicle is anticipated. The rear current socket (behind the tunnel console) is the only one that should be used when the FIX & GO kit has to be used. |
