The front driver and passenger side seats are equipped with an adjustment device that ensures the driver and passenger the best possible position and comfort. The driver side electrical adjustment device is fully managed by the driver position control unit: this movement is produced by means of the control unit on the left of the seat, or automatically, by calling up one of possible stored settings. The adjustment of the passenger seat, on the other hand, can only be done using the controls on the right of the seat. The electrical movement of the seats can only be activated with the key ON.When the key is turned OFF again, there is a timed period of around a minute, within which the automatic operation of recalling the position stored in the memory must be automatically completed. The device is excluded temporarily during start-up (INT/A).The seat adjustment control unit includes:- a button to tilt the cushion (forward and back);- a button to slide the seat unit longitudinally;- a button for adjust backrest rake;- a button to raise/lower the seat unit vertically; There are three buttons on the driver''s front seat controls used for the automatic recall of the positions memorized. See E3032 DOOR MIRROR ADJUSTMENTThis memorizing is managed by the driving position control unit which acquires the positions of the seats and the exterior rear view mirrors directly via the B-CAN.By pressing one of the three buttons for at least three seconds, all the adjustments made to the seat and the mirrors are stored in the control unit memory. The memory recall function is inhibited when the car is travelling faster than 10 km/h, via a signal sent via the B- CAN from the Body Computer to the driving position control unit.
