The vehicle is equipped with a radio system comprising:- radio;- wiring (speakers and radio);- speakers in the mirror triangle (tweeters);- speakers in the front doors (mid-woofers);- speakers in the rear door (full-range);- AM/FM aerial coaxial cable;- aerial mounting and stem.In this configuration the radio is a CAN node through which information is exchanged with the Body Computer and the other electronic units, providing the customer with a series of functions, including:- automatic switching off 20 minutes after the key off to protect the battery;- control of the dimmed lighting in the radio display with the side lights on;- volume control dependent on the vehicle speed (SVC);- controls on the steering wheel (where fitted). The radio, available in two different versions depending on customer requirements, can have a traditional CD player or CD MP3 player (compressed files). The radio has a security system with a four digit identification code on a card that is handed over to the customer when the vehicle is received when there is a factory-fitted radio. The above code should be entered every time the battery is disconnected to prevent it being reused on another vehicle. On request a multipolar cable for connecting the radio with a CD Changer located in the oddments compartment on the passenger side can be fitted. This configuration involves preparation for a mobile phone with hands-free kit. Some versions are equipped with controls on the steering wheel (6 button version): these make it possible to replicate some of the commands which are acquired in the same way by the actual radio. The functions are:- change/preset CD track or radio station (forwards);- change/preset CD track or radio station (backwards);- SCR (switch listening source);- VOL+ (increase volume);- VOL- (decrease volume);- MUTE.For more details, See descriptions 5570 ACCESSORIES
