194001763 - E7060 TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The tyre inflation pressure control unit M047 is supplied directly by the battery at pin 1 of connector A via the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The ignition-controlled power supply (INT from steering lock control unit) arrives at pin 16 of connector B of M047 from the line protected by fuse F51 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002. Pin 10 of connector A is earthed. The control unit M047 provides a positive signal, from pin 2 of connector A, for the tyre inflation pressure sensors P012 and four reference earth signals from pin 15 (left front sensor), pin 14 (right front sensor), pin 12 (left rear sensor) and pin 13 (right rear sensor) of connector B.The sensors send the corresponding signals to the control unit M047, respectively:- pin 4 of connector A, from the left front sensor (P012B);- pin 5 of connector A, from the right front sensor (P012 A);- pin 3 of connector A, from the left rear sensor (P012 D);- pin 6 of connector A, from the right rear sensor (P012 C).The control unit M047 is connected, from pin 18 of connector A, via the serial line, to the Body Computer M001 - pin 25 of connector B. See E1060 A-BUS SERIAL LINEThe autodiagnostic data can be read by connecting to connector C of the Body Computer M001 (pin 13): it receives the signals from pin 17 of connector A of M047.
