) - Position the vehicle on a lift.1. Undo the nuts fixing the front exhaust silencer to the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter.2. Undo the bolts fixing the front exhaust silencer flexible mounting to the bodyshell.3. Disconnect the rear flexible mounting for the front exhaust silencer.4. Loosen the collar securing the front exhaust silencer to the rear exhaust silencer.5. Remove the front exhaust silencer complete with gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the front exhaust silencer in position and tighten the nut for the collar securing it to the rear exhaust silencer to the recommended torque.

- Connect the rear flexible mounting for the front exhaust silencer.- Tighten the bolts fixing the front exhaust silencer flexible mounting to the bodyshell to the recommended torque.

- Fit a new gasket and tighten the nuts fixing the front exhaust silencer to the exhaust silencer and catalytic converter to the recommended torque.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
