Undo the bolts fixing the gearbox to the oil sump.2. Unscrew the nuts (2a) and bolts (2b) securing the oil sump.- Undo the side bolts securing the lower flywheel guard to the gearbox.3. Cut the sealant using the tool (3a) and remove the oil sump (3b).

- Undo the bolt and remove the lower engine flywheel guard. Refitting ( Removing ) - Remove the two studs securing the sump from the oil pump.- Thoroughly clean traces of sealant from the mating surfaces between the crankcase sump and engine block.- Place the lower engine flywheel guard in position and tighten the bolt.- Apply sealant to the oil sump fitting surface.- Refit the oil sump in its seat and tighten the bolts securing it to the gearbox to the recommended torque.
