198000684 - E7060 TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM - OPERATING DESCRIPTION

Functional description

Control unit M47 is supplied at pin 1 directly from the battery by a line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.The ignition-controlled power supply (INT) arrives at pin 16 from the line protected by fuse F51 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.The control unit is earthed at pin 10.The A-BUS serial line connecting with the Body Computer M1 - pin 10 of connector D leaves pin 18 of M47.The Body Computer M1 receives a direct supply from the battery via the line protected by maxifuse B99 at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B2; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit B2.The four receivers of sensors P12 receive a 5V supply from pin 2 of M47 and a reference earth from pins 12, 13 and 15 ; they send a pressure signal to pins 3, 4, 5 and 6 of M47.The autodiagnostic data can be read by connecting to connector C of the Body Computer M1 - pin 13: it receives signals from pin 17 of control unit M47 via the special diagnostic line.On right hand drive versions there is also diagnostic connector R10 separate from the Body Computer.
