Removing ( Refitting )
Before removing and refitting the pretensioners, observe the specified safety regulations.    See descriptions 7065 SEAT BELTS AND ACCESSORIES
    Op. 7040L40 FRONT DOOR RUNNING BOARD (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7040L44 REAR DOOR RUNNING BOARD (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.    Op. 7040H36 CENTRE PILLAR LOWER ELEMENT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R     Op. 7040H38 CENTRE PILLAR UPPER ELEMENT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R 1. Undo nut (1a) and move seat belt idler mounting (1b).2. Release intermediate retainer (2a) from the pillar, rotating it in the direction shown by arrow (2b), then disconnect it from the seat belt.
1. Undo bolt (1a) and move pretensioner (1b) by releasing retainer (1c) from its housing on the pillar.2. Detach the electrical connection.

3. Keep the seat belt and pretensioner.
Place the pretensioner in the special cupboard, resting it on a free surface
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the seat belt with pretensioner is not damaged.1. Secure the electrical connection.2. Place pretensioner (2a) in position and engage retainer (2b) into its housing on the pillar.3. Screw in the pretensioner retaining bolt and tighten to the recommended torque.
Do not use percussion screwdrivers.

1. Position the seat belt intermediate retainer, then engage it onto the pillar.2. Position seat belt idler mounting (2a) and tighten nut (2b) to the recommended torque.
