198002869 - 4410AA CHECK ON CORRECT FITTING OF END OF TRAVEL BUFFER ON FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER

- Position the vehicle on a two column lift.- Raise the vehicle and check that, with the shock absorber unladen, the dust cover is against the shock absorber retaining collar as shown in the diagram.

If the dust cover completely covers the collar or is even lower, it is possible that the buffer is not correctly fitted on the shock absorber upper mounting.
