Removing ( Refitting )     Op. 7040A45 RIGHT DASHBOARD SIDE TRIM - R.R.1. Undo the vent retaining bolt2. Bring control (2a) to vent open.3. Insert special tool (3a) into the vent and attach it to internal end (3b) of the vent, as shown in the diagram.

4. Using tool (3a) extract vent (4a), dis-engaging it from internal retainers (4b).
