Removing ( Refitting )

If the diesel electronic injection system control unit is being replaced, when the refitting is complete the following operations must be carried out using the Examiner.

Only for versions with DPF, if the diesel electronic injection system control unit is being replaced, the engine oil must be changed with reference to    Op. 0010T10 CHANGE ENGINE OIL

    Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R 1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the injection control unit.

2. Undo nuts (2a) and remove injection control unit (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the injection control unit back in its housing and secure it to the mounting bracket using the nuts.- Connect the electrical connections to the control unit.    Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R
