FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The side lights activation signal is sent to pin 28 of connector G of the Body Computer M1 from the steering column switch unit H5The Body Computer M1 receives a direct supply from the battery via the line protected by maxifuse B99 at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B2; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit B2.The side lights are also activated if the dusk sensor K125 is present (A-BUS signal from pin 10 of connector D of M1) and the AUTO function is set at the steering column switch unit H5 (signal at pin 4 of connector I of M1).The dusk sensor K125 receives a power supply from the INT line protected by fuse F49 of junction unit B2.The Body Computer M1 controls the supply for the front side lights F10 (left) and F11 (right) from pins 52 and 39 of connector B, for the rear side lights F30 (left) and F31 (right) from pins 8 and 9 of connector D and lastly the number plate lights F50 and F51 from pin 12 of connector D.Via the CAN line, the Body Computer M1 is connected to instrument panel E50 to manage the side lights on warning light and, if faults are detected in the circuit or in the bulbs, the lights failure warning light; in the vent of a fault with the dusk sensor there is a specific signal.
