FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The electronic device inside the steering column switch unit H5 and the controls on the right lever receive a power supply at pin 11 of connector A from the ignition-controlled line (INT/A) of relay T12 protected by fuse F43, both housed in the junction unit under the dashboard B2.The part of the electronic device of stalk unit H5 that manages the rear wiper function is supplied at pin 2 of connector C from the same ignition-operated line (INT/A) of relay T12 protected by fuse F52 contained in the junction unit under the dashboard B2.Pin 7 of connector A and pin 5 of connector C of H5 are earthed. When the rear wiper function is activated, stalk unit H5 sends a control signal to rear wiper motor N16 from pin 3 of connector C; pin 4 receives an earth signal from the motor end travel cam that stops its operation. The motor N16 is then earthed. The windscreen/rearscreen washer switch, once activated, sends two signals from pins 10 and 12 of connector A which operate the windscreen/rearscreen washer pump N22 directly. The automatic activation signal for the rearscreen wiper reaches pin 3 of connector A.    See E2022 REVERSING LIGHTS
