198001757 - I010 DIRECTION INDICATORS / HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS NOT WORKING

When the lever on the steering column switch unit is raised or lowered with the ignition ON, the direction indicators do not work. When the button is pressed the hazard warning lights do not work

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Connect the Examiner equipment to the diagnostic socket.Check:- that there are no faults in the body computer- the operation of the lights through active diagnosis	End of diagnosis	Faults present	Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
			None of the lamps manages to come on	Move on to Step 2
2	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	- Check the continuity and the insulation of the wiring between the Body Computer node and the direction indicators    See E2020 DIRECTION INDICATORS / HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS - Check that the direction indicators are correctly earthed	Move on to Step 3	Wiring between body computer and direction indicators interrupted	Restore the correct electrical connection    See E2020 DIRECTION INDICATORS / HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS
