198001848 - K080 AIRBAG FAILURE WARNING LIGHT ON

When starting, the Air Bag warning light comes on and stays on for longer than 4 seconds (the warning light should go off after the initial control unit test)
The warning light will stay on if an impact of a certain severity activates the system. The control unit must be replaced because its memory cannot be cleared
The Air Bag warning light is the smart type with a control circuit inside the panel that ensures the warning light is properly connected to the control unit.
