) - Open the bonnet lid.1. Rotate lower mounting (1a) through 90° to release retainer (1b), then extract it.

1. Support the bonnet lid, then release retainer (1a) from strut (1b) and remove strut from seat (1c).2. Remove the retainer from its seat on the body.3. Extract upper mounting (3a) after releasing retainers (3b).

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the support device is not damaged.- Position the upper mounting in the seat on the bonnet lid and engage the retainers.- Position the retainer in the seat on the body and fit the strut, securing it with the retainer.- Insert the lower mounting and turn it to the correct position, engaging the retainer.
