In line with excellence standards, the Bravo is equipped with braking systems which:- are highly efficient- have excellent modulation properties- are safe in all conditions.The vehicle is also fitted with the most sophisticated auxiliary electronic and mechanical systems:- ABS (Anti-lock Braking System): anti-lock braking system;- EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution): electronic brakeforce distribution between the front and rear wheels;- ESP (Electronic Stability Program): electronic vehicle stability control;- Hill Holder (with ESP): an automatic function which allows stopping and setting off on a hill without the help of the handbrake;- HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assistant) system: electro-hydraulic braking assistance which automatically increases the pressure in the braking circuit during emergency braking (with ESP).The braking system is the power assisted hydraulic type, comprising two crossover, independent circuits (each circuit acting on one front wheel and the diagonally opposite rear wheel) to ensure braking and stability even if one of the circuits fails.All versions are fitted with a 10" brake servo and are equipped with:- self-ventilating brake discs on the front wheels- solid brake discs on the rear wheels- ABS with EBD- ESP fitted as standard on the Sport version.The brake callipers are Bosch.
