Removing ( Refitting ) - Using the opening control, place the sliding transparent panel in the second opening position.1. Lift the side moulding (1a) gradually and release the inner retainers (1b) and the velcro (1c) using the special tool.

2. Detach the adhesive part (2a) of the side weatherstrip (2b) and the join (2c) from the front weatherstrip (2d).

The seal (2b) is destroyed when it is removed because the adhesive part (2a) no longer works therefore a new seal must be used when refitting.

3. Keep the side moulding and side weatherstrip. - If necessary, separate the wide weatherstrip (1a) from the moulding (1b) housing. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the side moulding and side weatherstrip are not damaged.- If removed, fit a new side weatherstrip in the side moulding housing.1. Clean any adhesive residues and degrease the side weatherstrip seal fastening surface (1a). Take care not to scratch the paintwork.2. Place the side moulding and side weatherstrip (2a) in position and attach the retainers (2b) and velcro (2c).3. Remove the protection (3a), then stick the adhesive section (3b) to the surface (1a) and attach the join (3c) to the front seal (3d). - Close the sun roof and check that the moulding and the side weatherstrip are correctly positioned.
