Before removing and refitting the pretensioners, observe the specified safety regulations. Op. 7065 SEAT BELTS AND ACCESSORIES

Op. 7040H80 REAR PARCEL SHELF - R.R. Op. 7040H67 RIGHT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R . - Or, alternatively Op. 7040G30 BOOT LIGHT BULB HOLDER - R.R. Op. 7040H66 LEFT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R . 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and move the seat belt idler (1b).2. Undo the bolt fixing the seat belt reel and pretensioner.3. Move the seat belt and reel (3a), releasing the retainer (3b) from the body.4. Detach the electrical connection for the pretensioner.

5. Keep the seat belt and pretensioner on the reel.

Place the pretensioner in the special cupboard resting it on a free surface.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the seat belt with pretensioner on the reel is not damaged.

If the belt is subjected to a great deal of strain, for example following an accident, it should be replaced together with the anchorages and the retaining bolts. Even if no defects appear to be present, the belt could have lost its properties of strength.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the pretensioner.2. Place the reel and pretensioner (2a) in position and attach the retainer (2b).3. Screw in the reel and pretensioner retaining bolt, then tighten to the recommended torque.

Do not use percussion screwdrivers.

4. Position the seat belt idler (4a) and tighten the bolt (4b) to the recommended torque.
