198000020 - 0010T40 CHANGE MANUAL GEARBOX OIL

Changing the manual gearbox oil is not a planned maintenance operation and is only carried out during removing-refitting operations that involve draining the gearbox oil.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Extract the gearbox oil dipstick. 1. Undo the gearbox casing drain plug and collect the fluid in a suitable container.

Collect the transmission fluid in a suitable container.

Do not let the oil disperse into the environment as indiscriminate dispersion of this product causes pollution.

- Clean the drain plug and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Refill the gearbox with the specified fluid through the oil dipstick hole.
