) - Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 1008C32 GEARBOX LOWER REACTION ROD -R.R. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Undo the nuts fixing the front flange for the front exhaust pipe to the precatalyzer.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the flexible mountings bracket for the front exhaust pipe to the bodyshell.- Move the exhaust pipe to the side.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the bracket on the gearbox for the lower reaction rod (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) - Refit the lower reaction rod bracket in its seat and secure it by tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Place the exhaust pipe back in its housing.- Tighten the bolts fixing the flexible mountings bracket for the front exhaust pipe to the bodyshell.- Tighten the nuts fixing the front flange for the front exhaust pipe to the precatalyzer to the recommended torque.
