Remove the protection, undo the bolt (1a) and remove the engine components single belt lower fixed tensioner (1b). 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the support (1b). 1. Remove the cartridge engine oil filter using a suitable tool.2. Remove the connector fastening the engine oil heat exchanger. 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the crankshaft oil seal front cover (1b).- Remove the gasket. - At the bench, release and remove the crankshaft front oil seal cover.

Take care not to damage the oil seal seal during its removal.The oil seal is destroyed during the removal operation.It must therefore always be replaced.

Refitting ( Removing ) - Place a new gasket back in position.- Place the crankshaft front oil seal cover in its housing and secure it tightening the new bolts to the recommended torque.

- Fit a new the crankshaft front cover oil seal in the housing using the tool.

- Tighten the heat exchanger connector to the recommended torque.
