This operation pressurises the fuel filter.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel temperature sensor and the water presence sensor in the fuel filter.
DescriptionConnector
1Fuel temperature and water in fuel filter sensor    See K101 FUEL TEMPERATURE AND WATER IN FUEL FILTER SENSOR
2. Position a suitable container under the fuel filter and loosen the sensor for the liquid to flow out.
Carry out this action gradually, taking care to check that the amount of fuel expelled is between 75 and 80 cc
- Examine the expelled fluid: if it contains water without evident traces of diesel, repeat the bleeding operation.- If traces of diesel appear, repeating the bleeding operation ensures that the fuel filter does not contain any more water.- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.- Check that no more leaks are present in the lower part of the fuel filter after running the engine for one minute.
