Undo the bolts (1a) and the nuts (1b) and remove the catalytic converter mounting bracket (1c) together with the engine oil filter protection (1d).

Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R Op. 1048A41 HOSE FROM FLOW METER TO TURBOCHARGER - R.R. Op. 1080C83 EXHAUST GAS INLET PIPING FROM EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO HEAT EXCHANGER EGR - R R Op. 1048B19 TURBOCHARGER AIR OUTLET HOSE -R.R.1. Undo the bolts securing the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger to the crankcase, crankcase side.2. Undo the fitting connecting the engine oil delivery pipe to the turbocharger from the crankcase.

1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the turbocharger vane position control actuator.

- Lower the vehicle.1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the turbocharger and exhaust manifold assembly (1b) from the cylinder head.- Remove the gasket.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) fixing the engine oil return pipe (1b) and remove it.2. Undo the connector (2a) for the oil supply pipe (2b) and remove it.

1. Loosen the collar (1a) and remove the catalytic converter (1b) from the turbocharger.2. Undo the front nuts fixing the exhaust manifold to the turbocharger.

1. Undo the rear nuts (1a) and remove the exhaust manifold (1b) from the turbocharger.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the exhaust manifold in position and tighten the new nuts fixing it to the turbocharger to the recommended torque.

- Place the oil delivery pipe in position and secure it tightening the connector to the recommended torque.

- Refit the engine oil return pipe, complete with new gasket, in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Place the catalytic converter in position and tighten the collar fixing it to the turbocharger to the recommended torque.

- Place the turbocharger and exhaust manifold assembly complete with new gasket back in position and secure to the cylinder head by tightening the nuts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the vacuum pipe to the turbocharger vane position control actuator.- Tighten the connector securing the engine oil delivery pipe to the turbocharger, crankcase side to the recommended torque.

Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R - Place the catalytic converter mounting bracket in position together with the engine oil filter protection and tighten the nuts and bolts to the recommended torque.
