Removing ( Refitting )

If the DPF is being replaced, when the refitting is complete the following operations must be carried out using the Examiner.

    Op. 1076B20 REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R 1. Undo the connector and remove the temperature sensor aside.2. Loosen the band and disconnect the flexible pipe from the rigid pipe for the differential pressure sensor.3. Undo the nuts fixing the particulate filter to the intermediate pipe with the flexible section.- Disconnect the centre exhaust pipe flexible mounting.4. Remove the particulate filter complete with centre exhaust pipe.- Remove the gasket. 1. Loosen the nut for the collar (1a) and disconnect the particulate filter (1b) from the centre exhaust pipe (1c). Refitting ( Removing ) - Connect the particulate filter to the exhaust pipe and tighten the nut for the collar to the recommended torque.

- Fit a new gasket and place the particulate filter complete with centre exhaust pipe in position.- Connect the centre exhaust pipe flexible mounting.-Tighten the nuts fixing the particulate filter to the intermediate pipe with flexible section to the recommended torque.

- Connect the flexible pipe to the rigid pipe for the differential pressure sensor and tighten the band.- Fit the temperature sensor and tighten the connector to the recommended torque.
