Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Compress the upper clip (1a) for the retaining device (1b) and release the push rod (1c) for the master cylinder from the clutch pedal (1d).2. Adjust the clips and remove the retaining device (1b) from the push rod (1c).

Always replace the retaining device for the brake servo push rod each time it is removed, even if it appears to be undamaged.

1. Rotate the clutch pedal switch clockwise and remove it from its housing without disconnecting the electrical connection.2. Compress the retaining tabs and remove the clutch pedal fastening pin.3. Remove the clutch pedal. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit the new retaining device on the clutch pedal.- Place the clutch pedal back in its housing and secure it to the support using the pin.

Check that the pin (a) is locked with the splining (b) for the pedal mounting as illustrated.

- Connect the master cylinder push rod to the retaining device on the clutch pedal.- Place the clutch pedal switch in position and rotate it anti-clockwise to secure it to the bracket.
