Removing ( Refitting )

The pedal mounting is removed from the vehicle together with the pedal assembly with reference to    Op. 3330B02 PEDAL ASSEMBLY - R.R The dismantling of the pedal assembly is described below.

1. Disconnect the clips (1a) and remove the spacer (1b) from the pedal support. 1. Rotate the clutch pedal and brake light switches and remove them.2. Undo the bolts and remove the accelerator pedal.3. Compress the clips, release the pin (3a) and remove the clutch pedal (3b).4. Compress the clips, release the pin (4a) and remove the brake pedal (4b) from the support (4c). Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the spacer in its housing and secure it to the support using the clips.- Place the brake pedal back in its housing and secure it to the support using the pin.

Check that the pin (a) is locked with the splining (b) for the pedal mounting as illustrated.

- Place the clutch pedal back in its housing and secure it to the support using the pin.

Check that the pin (a) is locked with the splining (b) for the pedal mounting as illustrated.

- Place the accelerator pedal back in its housing and secure it to the support using the bolts.- Press the brake pedal, position the new brake lights switch on the braket and rotate it anti-clockwise until the retaining tooth can be heard to click into place.- Release the brake pedal.- Press the clutch pedal, position the new clutch pedal switch on the braket and rotate it anti-clockwise until the retaining tooth can be heard to click into place.- Release the clutch pedal.
