1With the ignition key to MAR, check for the presence at Pin 5 of the headlamp alignment corrector front potentiometer connector    See K001 HEADLAMP ALIGNMENT FRONT POTENTIOMETERof a voltage of 5 V.Move on to Step 5Move on to Step 2
2If faults are present, restore the continuity of the wiring between the Master headlamp (left side) and the front potentiometer    See E3080 HEADLAMP AGLINMENT CORRECTOR The test can be considered overMove on to Step 3
3With the key in the MAR position, check for the presence at Pin 1 of the Master headlamp    See F010 LEFT HEADLAMP of a voltage of 5 VReplace the master headlamp    Op. 5540B81 LEFT GAS DISCHARGE LIGHT CLUSTER - R.R.
4Check that the fault has disappeared. The test is completeReplace the headlamp control unitOp. 5540B40

14Turn the ignition key to the MAR position.Disconnect the front sensor connecting rod.Connect a Voltmeter between Pin 2 of the headlamp 6-way connector    See F010 LEFT HEADLAMP and the earth.Check that the voltage varies between 0.5 and 4.5 V when the sensor mobile axis is turned by hand.Move on to Step 16Move on to Step 15
